1. Green Peas Paratha
Green peas contain a lot of minerals like magnesium, calcium and potassium, making it a great option for a power-packed breakfast.
Ingredients:
● 2 cups whole wheat flour
● 1 tsp oil
● ¼ tsp salt
● 1 cup water
● 3-4 tbsp whole wheat flour (to roll the dough)
For peas filling –
● 2 cups green peas
● 4-5 cups water
● 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
● 2 green chillies
● Salt as per taste
● ½ tsp sugar
● 2 tbsp oil
● ½ tsp cumin seeds
● ¼ tsp asafoetida
● ½ tsp coriander powder
● ½ tsp cumin powder
● ½ tsp amchur powder
● ½ tsp garam masala
● 2-3 Ghee
Method:
Boil the green peas for 5-10 minutes, drain the excess water and transfer it to a blender. Add green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, salt, sugar and half a cup of water. Blend it into a smooth puree and set aside.
Now heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and asafoetida powder. Once it begins to splutter, add the green peas puree, coriander powder, cumin powder and amchur powder and cook until the mixture completely dries up.
Add garam masala, mix it well and set aside to let it cool. Now, take a large mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, salt, oil and water and knead it into a dough. Divide it into a small balls stuff it with the green peas filling. Sprinkle some wheat flour, roll it into a roti and roast it on a tawa using ghee. Garnish it with a dollop of butter and serve hot.
4. Paneer Paratha

Enjoy the rich flavours of spiced cottage cheese stuffed in an Indian flatbread – we’re talking about paneer paratha.
Ingredients:
● 2 cups whole wheat flour
● 1 tsp oil
● ¼ tsp salt
● 1 cup water
● 3-4 tbsp whole wheat flour (to roll the dough)
For paneer filling -
● 200gm paneer, grated
● 1 onion, finely chopped
● 2 green chillies, chopped
● 1 tsp ginger, grated
● Salt as per taste
● 1 tsp cumin powder
● ½ tsp amchur powder
● ¼ tsp red chilli powder
● ½ garam masala powder
● 2-3 tbsp ghee
Method:
In a bowl, add grated paneer, chopped onions, green chillies, grated ginger, salt, cumin powder, amchur powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder. Mix it well and set aside.
Now in another bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, oil and water and knead into a soft dough. Divide the dough into small balls and stuff each ball with the paneer filling. Now gently flatten each ball and roll it into a roti.
Heat a tawa and roast it using ghee until both the sides are cooked well and turn golden brown.
